Clear Skies Ahead: Embracing Transparency in Our Union's Journey Together

Dear Region IV Sisters and Brothers,

All feedback is important; this is how we grow. Yesterday, I shared an E-mail conversation with Brother Daniel Foster. He’s allowed me to send the conclusion of our conversation, which is an excellent example of open feedback and transparency.  In it, he states, “Mary, Thank you for letting me know about my messages not going through and for sharing my less than flattering statements. That says a lot about you.”

Transparency isn't just a buzzword; it's the cornerstone of trust and integrity. As your Regional Vice President (RVP), I am committed to fostering a culture of open communication and honesty. Our strength lies in the connections we build, from members to representatives. I promise you a leadership style that is open, approachable, and genuinely invested in our collective growth. This commitment to transparency and open communication is unwavering.

Every voice in our union matters. Your thoughts, concerns, and feedback are not only welcome but essential. I pledge to listen to you with an open heart and mind, valuing each piece of feedback as an opportunity for us to grow stronger together. Our collective growth is at the heart of our union's journey. Transparency means more than just sharing information; it means engaging with you, being honest about challenges and successes, and holding myself accountable to my promises.

As we journey forward, I am unwavering in my commitment to setting clear goals and being transparent about our progress. I will regularly report on what we are achieving, where we can improve, and how to serve our union better. We will create a culture where every member feels heard, valued, and empowered.

This campaign is not just about leadership; it's about building a union where transparency and trust are the norm, not the exception. I ask for your support and your feedback as we work together to elevate our union to new heights. Let's continue this journey with integrity, openness, and a shared vision for a brighter future, guided by our commitment to transparency and trust.

With solidarity and respect,

Mary
