Experience. Professionalism. Dedication.

Hello! I’m Mary, an Aviation Safety Technician from sunny Los Angeles, California. I joined the Federal Service in 2003 and have been flying high ever since. With a strong foundation in aviation from my family, I'm proud to follow in my father’s footsteps and continue learning and growing my knowledge of all operations within the National Airspace.

These days, I serve as the Western-Pacific Regional Business Agent, representing 450 PASS bargaining unit employees across 16 Flight Standards District and Certificate Management Offices. I believe in the power of teamwork, so I work hard to foster collaboration and empowerment among my fantastic team of 30+ representatives. Oh, and I also have the honor of being a voting member of the Western-Pacific OSHA Committee – safety is always a top priority!

I play a crucial role as a Peer Debriefer on the Critical Incident Stress Management Team, ensuring the well-being of our represented employees in times of crisis. I'm also a member of the National Legislative Committee. I work with our National Legislative Director to remain informed of critical legislation impacting the people we represent; I engage with lawmakers at the grassroots level, advocating change to support our mission and training and empowering members to become grassroots lobbyists. I've worn many hats over the past 18 years with the Union, from serving in Chapter offices to being a Contract Representative. I’m passionate about helping develop future Union leaders and committed to ensuring our Union thrives. My experience in contract administration, mid-term negotiations, and OSHA compliance is all part of my dedication to serving the Union and its members.

When living my best life, my family and I love to explore new places, take road trips throughout the United States, visit museums, and enjoy Los Angeles' cultural treasures. I'm also an avid reader of history and biographies, always looking to learn something new and fascinating.
